Directions to UMBC
To get to UMBC from Interstate 95, take Exit 47B, Catonsville (Route 166), and follow signs to the UMBC Campus. Go around the traffic circle at Research Park, bear right around the next traffic circle onto Hilltop Circle, go to the second stop sign, and make a left onto Commons Drive.
From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695), take Exit 12C (Wilkens Avenue, west). Turn left on Wilkens Avenue to the traffic circle. Follow signs to UMBC. Bear right at Hilltop Road, turn right on Hilltop Circle, and go around the traffic circle. At the second stop sign, make a left onto Commons Drive.
Parking
You may park in the spaces labeled “Visitor – Pay to Park” in the Commons Garage. Follow the directions at the Pay and Display machines in the Commons Garage. The machines accept bills, MasterCard or Visa. Parking fees are $2 per hour, enforced Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm. If you park anywhere but a “Pay to Park” space, you risk getting a ticket.
